PHOSPHATE PLANT PROJECT

Project Desciption

The Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) intends to develop the Umm Wu’al Phosphate Project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This Project is based on the exploitation and processing of the Umm Wu’al phosphate deposit, taking advantage of existing and future railway infrastructure, linking the phosphate deposits of Umm Wu’al in the northern region with the Industrial City of Ras Al Khair on the Arabian Gulf.

Engineering supplied

Build Srl operated with its long term partner CS Impianti Spa for the development of the following activities:

  • Process: P & I update in accordance with the development of the model and the process of revisions, compilation of classes and attribute, the line parameters, line list extraction
  • Civil: foundation engineering and concrete structures, underground networks, pavements, roads and external works, underground drainage networks, 3D models
  • Structure: engineering of the steel structures, calculation, details analysis, workshops drawing, 3d models.
  • Architectural: development of 3D models and architectural drawings of the various buildings, material lists, roads
  • Piping: implementation of the 3D model in PDS, piping layout dwg, data sheets commented, interconnecting, supports, stress analysis.
